Who we are

Kathryn O'Connor

Digital Content Specialist

Background

Fueled by carbs and compassion, Kathryn O’Connor (she/her) starts each day looking for creative ways to support her clients and co-workers. As Digital Content Specialist for Piper & Gold Public Relations, Kathryn takes pride in her ready-to-learn approach to her work, focusing on compelling storytelling, inclusivity and empowerment.

Kathryn is motivated by projects that inspire community innovation, and she’s proud of her empathy-based approach to meeting project challenges. As a recent graduate, Kathryn embraces learning opportunities that push her beyond her comfort zone and help her contribute to a positive working environment.

Kathryn studied at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, majoring in journalism and media communications. She was the vice president of Omaha’s PRSSA chapter and the News Editor to The Gateway, the school’s newspaper.

A smalltown Georgia native, Kathryn swapped peaches for corn and now calls Omaha, Nebraska, home. Outside of P&G, you can find her reading young adult romance in a cafe pretending to like coffee or planning her New York Times bestselling novel.
