Abbi Gabli
Media Relations Intern
Background
Abbi Gabli is passionate about putting people at the center of every narrative she tells. As Piper & Gold’s Media Relations Intern, she thrives in collaborative environments where ideas are constantly being bounced around.
Abbi is pursuing dual degrees in public relations and in professional and public writing at Michigan State University. Her time at MSU has helped her gain experience in digital communication, journalism and creative storytelling. She is passionate about creating ties that bring people, ideas and opportunities together through communication that drives meaningful progress.
Her previous work experience in journalism, higher education and corporate communications has strengthened her belief that connection begins with understanding. As a reporter, she learned to uncover meaningful stories. In higher education, she discovered how communication can bridge gaps between groups. Working in global communications for a Fortune 500 company showed her how narratives can unite people across functions. These experiences have shaped her intentional and human-centered approach to communication.
When she’s not working, Abbi usually can be found at a local thrift shop buying an article of clothing she definitely doesn’t need or trying out a new hobby (she’s currently attempting both skateboarding and guitar playing). She also enjoys spending time with close friends, playing card games or singing karaoke.
