Communications Specialist & Project Manager
Lauren Bishop loves a good plan. As Communications Specialist and Project Manager for Piper & Gold Public Relations, Lauren is quick to provide whatever support clients need to keep from feeling overwhelmed. She’s eager to offer strategic advice, structure for a project or even an extra pair of eyes to ensure perfection, all through the lens of compelling storytelling.
Lauren’s experience as a project manager and communicator helps her identify storytelling opportunities across a broad range of platforms and keep projects on time and on task, outlining all possible expectations. She is at her best creating narratives that draw audiences into her clients’ mission and work.
She previously worked as a project manager for a full-service marketing solutions agency in North Carolina, where she honed her technical and multitasking skills. The Detroit native studied apparel and textile design and studio art at Michigan State University and earned a bachelor’s in creative writing and English from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating summa cum laude.
Lauren is dedicated to work emphasizing racial equity, inclusion and representation, and environmental sustainability.
Off the clock, Lauren is probably eating pasta and bingeing TV shows. She also loves reading, traveling and hanging out with her calico cat, Nomi, in her home in Charlotte, N.C.
