At Piper & Gold, we know we have the power to change our community — and our world — for the better. We show up every day committed to supporting a more just, equitable society through communications.
Our award-winning work (over 100 recognitions in the past five years!) is fueled by curiosity, creativity and a relentless commitment to growth. At P&G, we’re committed to using our skills for good and helping nonprofits, government agencies, associations and small businesses make a difference.
We’re looking to add a student intern to our team with an interest in writing, storytelling and media relations. The Media Relations Intern position is more than a resume booster; it’s a chance to learn how thoughtful, intentional communications can shift perspectives, build trust and spark action. We are seeking a student with passion and experience in journalism, writing and media strategy. More importantly, someone who wants to shape the headlines and narratives that matter.
P&G is a remote-friendly agency grounded in Michigan. We love this state and the people in it, and while we welcome applicants from across the U.S., we give preference to students interested in a hybrid internship experience, residing in Michigan.
We value your time and believe only in paid internships. We’re looking for interns who can work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours depending on interest and work available. The starting rate for our internships is $15 per hour. The position runs through December 2025, with opportunities to extend into future semesters depending on organizational needs.
Please note that the initial review of applications will begin on August 14. Applications submitted after that date will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
